(You can only choose one link at a time)

  1. Fill out the form. Please take a few minutes to answer as many questions as you can as this will save you time later. Please remember, this information is used to build your profile. Think of it as a resume, the more information you include, the better your chances will be of making connections.
  2. At the bottom of the page you will find a box for a VIP code. If you have a VIP code you should enter it in this box.
  3. Click on the “create my account” button.
  4. You will now have an opportunity to upload your profile picture. The maximum file size for photos is 200K and 5MB for movies/video. If your file size is too large try reducing the image size or pixels. You can upload multiple photos and movies/videos at this time if you choose. You will also be able upload or edit additional multi-media at a later time. Click on the button: “click here when finished uploading.”
  5. Your profile page will load showing you all of the data you entered. Take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the page set up and location of your information.

Building your profile:

Your profile is your opportunity to showcase yourself. Again, think of this as a resume, sales tool or marketing proposal. Some of the questions may not pertain to you, your company or your race program, simply move to the next question.

Updating your profile:

The top left and the bottom of the page you will find links to update your profile information. Make changes and update your profile as often as you like. It is in your best interest to keep your information as up to date as possible.

When updating your latest news, you may check the box directly below that states "send my update to the Sponsor Edge home page" to post your update so it is also viewable to the public on our home page 'Member Updates' scroller.

Adding multi-media:

Click on the Upload movie or photo button. Choose the appropriate button for profile photo, video, or albums. Browse for photos or video and when you are done, click on the button: “click here when finished uploading.” You will again be directed to your profile page.  If your profile image does not show up immediately, refresh your browser or clear your cache files (if you are using Internet Explorer, you may have to wait until the next time you log-in to have the profile image show).

Searching the site:

Click on the search button on the top right of your profile page. This will direct you the search page. You can search for drivers, teams, tracks, series, events, sponsors and agencies. Click on the link that suits your needs. You are directed to a form that will help you narrow your search. Fill out as much or as little as you prefer. Please try to be as specific as you can, clicking on all of the buttons will NOT return more results. For example; if you are searching for a driver and click on asphalt and dirt track surfaces, you will only return the names of drivers who race on both surfaces; it will not return drivers who race on just asphalt or just dirt. The category buttons are set up as and, not or, as explained above.

Requesting and accepting a connection:

Once you have searched the site for members you would like to make a connection with, click on their profile picture. A new window will pop up to their profile page. On the left hand side, under the profile picture click on request a connection. Once you have requested a connection it will direct you to your message center. You will see the number of connections you have requested next to pending connections. If the member accepts your connection, you can view it in your message center or also on the bottom of your profile page.

Sending and receiving messages:

If you want to send a message to a member, search them, click on their profile photo and click on the send message link. It is located on the left hand side under the profile photo. You can then type your message and hit the send button. If you want to see your sent history, click on the sent history button found on the right side of the page. You will find messages sent to you in your message center. In order to send a message to a sponsor, they must first accept your connection. Once the connection is made, you will be able to communicate with the sponsor through your message center or their profile page.
