  • Double check for grammar and spelling before posting anything

  • Update your profile as often as possible

  • Present yourself, your team or company/sponsors in a professional manner

  • Add promotional videos, pdf presentations, flyers and added info - the more the better!

  • ONLY offer what you can realistically provide a potential sponsor

  • Show your personal side and your hobbies and interests

  • Complete your profile areas-do not leave them empty

  • Show what you do for your sponsors with photos, video and write ups

  • Regularly post your updates to the SponsorEdge home page

  • Show yourself in a professional image at all times

  • Be selective on the “Connection Requests” you send and receive - make sure that they fit with your market

  • Utilize the latest news updates – press releases, new sponsors, sales/specials, special events, etc.

  • Include a link to your proposal or website or upload a proposal (in pdf) to your profile if sponsors want to learn more

  • Product sponsors can lead to more in the future, so be open to any type of sponsorships offered

  • Tracks, Series, Events can promote themselves and their programs to the competitors and teams on the site, not just sponsors. Utilize the site as a networking and promotional tool to build awareness to your programs

  • Agencies, Companies and Sponsors can also utilize the site to promote their programs and services, offer free products, promotions and discounts; as well as looking for options to place sponsorship and get good representation for your company, products and services

  • SponsorEdge.com is a perfect place for companies to look for other companies to combine promotions, create alliances, trade-outs and build B2B programs

Networking Tips:

  • Search out other members etc. for future opportunities in upper levels of motorsports

  • Connect with members that represent the same sponsors and look for ways to work together to promote your sponsors

  • Offer free representation to sponsors that have charity programs

  • Keep yourself open to even the smaller companies that wish to network/promote with you, you never know where that could lead in the future.
