7/15/10 - SponsorEdge.com, a new
website that is geared toward
helping racers and companies
find, match, promote and
market with each other will be
showing support of the USAC .25

Lakeville IN at the end
of this month. SponsorEdge.com
is offering 10 free one year

"We wanted to do a
promotion that would be fun for
the drivers, and also directly
give them something that was
easy to manage for them at the
event. Then drivers simply set
up their winning membership when
they get back home or to a
computer, says Annamarie
Strawhand co-founder and
web developer for
SponsorEdge.com. "The free
winning VIP cards will be placed
randomly, so the drivers just
check the gift bags to see if
they get a winning code on the
back of the special
SponsorEdge.com VIP card. We
also wanted to offer something
for all the racers entered, so
each of the remaining gift bags
will include a VIP card with a
10%
discount code to
SponsorEdge.com - every
entrant goes home with a gift
from us."
SponsorEdge.com
is the only networking,
connecting and B2B site of its
kind. It was created exclusively
for racers by racers.
Members have access to a variety
of companies that are looking to
promote their products and
services through the motorsports
venue.
"We feel strongly about
assisting and educating our
members in the areas of
sponsorship, marketing and
promotion, says Annamarie. "We
know that there are alot of
young racers out there and the
families that support them in
need of sponsorship, and we want
to help the sport grow and help
racers and sponsors build long
lasting partnerships. That is
why we created the site, and
will continue support events
such as this for years to come."

SponsorEdge.com: NEW Innovative Website For Racers
and Companies to Connect - Members Reaping BIG Benefits
June 12, 2010, – SponsorEdge.com
launched to rave reviews recently, and members are
reaping the benefits daily. The visionary online service
provides a way for the motorsports industry to market
and promote their programs through a time saving, easy
and affordable means.
“We recognized a need in the motorsports
industry for businesses and racing entities to network
and promote their programs on a professional level,”
said SponsorEdge.com web-developer and co-founder
Annamarie Malfitana-Strawhand. “Motorsports related
companies who want to reach drivers, teams, tracks and
series all in one place find it easy with our system,
and it’s also been a big success with non-motorsports
related companies as well.”
Affiliation with SponsorEdge.com allows
its members to find optimal promotional partners based
on location, type of racing, and a number of other key
areas. The website was created to streamline the process
for both sides of a marketing and sponsor partnership to
meet.
“We took suggestions from a variety of
people in the racing industry when we created
SponsorEdge.com,” said Malfitana-Strawhand. “A main
complaint among racers, teams, tracks and series was how
difficult it is to find the right person when
approaching a company. Businesses struggle with an
overload of proposals and solicitations.
“SponsorEdge.com ensures quality
partnerships through data collected from our members.
It’s easy for both sides of a marketing partnership
process to see what they’re getting, and we structured
the profiles so that members have to show how they have
promoted sponsors in the past and how they will promote
any new sponsors.”
SponsorEdge.com also creates
opportunities for companies to promote products and
services to the entire membership database or just key
areas if they wish. The premier sponsor membership for
companies has added promotional bonuses such as;
automatic connections to all members in the database and
a high profile way to feature specials, free offers and
discounts through the “Hot Deals” program. The site’s
popularity has exploded since its introduction earlier
this spring.
“We’re overwhelmed by the positive
feedback,” said Malfitana-Strawhand. “We continue to
develop new and creative ways for our members to promote
and market themselves; as well as provide education and
assistance to all our members in an effort to make their
experience worth while.”

Nationwide Series
Race Preview for Robert Richardson, Jr. and No. 23
Mahindra Tractors USA Chevrolet - Daytona
Team to carry logo
of Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children on car to
raise awareness
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.
(February 9, 2010) – After months of preparation,
perspiration and planning, the NASCAR Nationwide Series
begins this Saturday at Daytona International Speedway.
Robert Richardson, Jr. and the No. 23 Mahindra Tractors
USA Chevrolet team are looking to capitalize on their hard
work in the off-season with a good showing in the season
opener.
With no primary
sponsorship in place after Daytona, they know a great
result on the track could attract the needed marketing
partners to make for a more successful season. But, that
still didn’t stop them from donating some lower quarter
panel space on the car to raise awareness for a good
cause.
Past Facts at
Daytona: Richardson, Jr., from
McKinney, Texas, will be making his 47th career
NNS start this Saturday. In six previous starts on the
2.5-mile oval of Daytona, he’s completed 653 of 669 laps
(97.6 percent) and led one circuit. His best NNS start
here is 26th (twice) and best finish of 26th
(twice) through the past three seasons.
Car Facts:
The team will use chassis No. 38, which was purchased from
Dale Earnhardt, Inc. last year and raced under the Chance
2 Motorsports banner in the past.
Did you know:
In addition to playing quarterback for his high school
football team, Richardson also played one year for
Southern Methodist University. He traded the gridiron for
asphalt when he started racing. He achieved his degree in
Studio Art with a minor in photography from SMU. So, if
you see him taking pictures on the grid, it’s okay – he
has a degree.
Talk about the
start of another season: “You
know, when it gets towards the end of the season, you
can’t wait for it to end. Then, right after the holidays,
you get ready to go back to racing again. I spent a good
amount of time at the shop this past season and the
attitude of the guys on the team is great. We’ve all been
working towards the same common goals – to improve on what
we did last year and earn better finishes this year.”
Any thoughts about
Danica Patrick making her NNS debut with you in Daytona:
“She did pretty well in the ARCA race last weekend. I
wasn’t surprised they went with the decision to start her
this Saturday. It will be interesting to see what she does
in the race and I hope she has a good one. If it helps
bring more awareness to our Nationwide Series, I’m all for
it.”
Talk about why the
Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is on your No.
23 Chevrolet: “Last week, I got
the chance to visit with some of the patients there and it
was just incredible to see the spirit those kids have with
what’s going on in their lives. The hospital deals with
children who have orthopedic problems such as scoliosis,
clubfoot, hand and hip disorders and limb-length
differences.
“The families of these
children aren’t charged for any of the services because
the donations from individuals and corporations keep the
hospital going and cover the costs. I thought the least we
could do, as a race team, was to bring some awareness to
what they do by carrying them on our car. I just hope we
have a good showing for them and make them proud to be on
our Mahindra Tractors USA car.”
Formed in 1921,
Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital has treated more than
190,000 children since its inception.
Goals for the race
on Saturday: “To see how our car
drafts and know where it responds best on the track. I
want to have a good showing, work with my fellow drivers
and bring it across the finish line in one piece. When we
were here in July, I was running near the top 15 and got
caught up in a last-lap wreck. That isn’t how I want to
finish the race this weekend.”
Doing the Double in
Daytona: In addition to racing
for his own team, Richardson will also partake in the
Daytona 500 with Front Row Motorsports in the No. 38
Mahindra Tractors USA car. With a guaranteed starting
spot, Richardson will be making his first Daytona 500
start.
SponsorEdge.com
also on car for Daytona:
In addition to the
Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, the No. 23
Mahindra Tractor USA Chevrolet will carry SponsorEdge.com
on the car. The newly launched site links up corporate
sponsors with race teams and drivers on all levels of
racing. R3 Motorsports is the featured team for the month
of February.
